About Us

Lakenan Insurance Agency is a privately owned independent insurance agency that was established in 1938 by William Lakenan, in Perryville, Missouri. In 1976, R. Lee Lottes became the manager of the Ste. Genevieve office and subsequently purchased that location in 1982.

Lakenan Insurance of Ste. Genevieve, together with Lakenan Insurance of St. Louis, has grown from three associates in 1976 to over twenty associates today. We represent the top insurance companies offering all lines of coverage, including Commercial, Personal, Life, Health and Bonds.                      

Our offices include state-of-the-art computer systems for managing our records and online access with most of the companies that we represent. This technology allows us to offer our customers the most accurate and up-to-date information possible. Lakenan’s Online Customer Service Representative is available 24/7 and can be used to obtain quotes, request changes, order certificates, access information about the agency, correspond directly with our associates, plus much more...
